Our Suffolk Veterinary Hospital Offers Comprehensive Wellness Plans
A new puppy or kitten can fill your heart with love – without filling your inbox with massive
bills. Our North Suffolk Animal Clinic, and our sister clinic in
Portsmouth, offer comprehensive wellness plans for new pets. The plans
allow pet owners to save money while ensuring pets get the basic
preventative services they need. Our animal vet clinic is all about service, offering a full-range of care for pets in Chesapeake, Tidewater and Hampton Roads at our main animal hospital location in Suffolk. Our sister location, Churchland Animal Clinic, also offers exceptional care for pets surrounding the Portsmouth area.
Wellness Care for Portsmouth, Chesapeake, Hampton Roads and Tidewater Pets
Our puppy and kitten wellness plans for Portsmouth, Chesapeake,
Hampton Roads and Tidewater pets offer the services every new pet
deserves at considerable savings to you, the pet owner. Our animal vet clinic puppy and kitten wellness plans are simple to use and cover the cost of basic vaccinations, spay and neuter surgery and a microchip placement. The plans were created by our Suffolk veterinarians and
are intended to target the early veterinary care and prevention needed
to keep puppies and kittens healthy and disease-free.
Depending on the age of your puppy or kitten at its first visit to our veterinary hospital, you can enroll in either a 4-Visit or 3-Visit Puppy or Kitten Wellness Program. Once enrolled, the pet owner pays a flat fee at each visit, with the cost dependent on the plan chosen. Our animal vet clinic will then administer the vaccinations
every new puppy or kitten needs to start their way on the road to a
long, healthy life. Rabies vaccinations are included, as are other
vaccines specific to each type of animal. We encourage pet owners to
discuss the vaccines available and the schedule of vaccines with our
staff members in order to fully understand the program and why we
developed it the way we did.
Since spay and neuter surgery is an essential part of any
new pet’s wellness plan, the cost of surgery is included. You will
receive a certificate from our veterinarian at your final visit of your
plan to redeem for a spay or neuter procedure, and you can then schedule
a convenient time for you and your pet. New pets must be 4 to 7 months
of age unless our animal hospital staff has provided a reason for waiting. The spay or neuter
surgery includes the basic procedure, an IV catheter, antibiotic and
pain injections as well as pain medication following the surgery.
Pre-anesthetic bloodwork is not included in the cost of the surgery. If a
pet is in heat or has retained testicles, an additional cost will
apply. An additional cost will also apply for our animal hospital clinic
to declaw a kitten.

Our veterinary hospital wellness plans can be canceled at
any time. If plans are canceled, all services will be billed at regular
prices. That means there are no strings attached or risks to join our
animal hospital wellness plan. The only risks come when new puppies and
kittens do not get the comprehensive preventative care they need.
If you have questions about the wellness plans, please contact our animal vet clinic at 757-292-4108 or email us. If you live in Portsmouth, we invite you to visit our sister animal hospital, Churchland Animal Clinic.
